One of the pioneers in emerging markets, Carmignac Gestion has demonstrated once again its capacity for innovation by launching Carmignac Emerging Patrimoine in March 2011.

An original Emerging markets Fund, combining equities, bonds and currencies with an active equity exposure management. Carmignac Emerging Patrimoine offers a diversified approach to emerging markets, generating performance whilst controlling volatility.

Fund managers


Simon Pickard

Simon Pickard graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master of Arts. He launched his career in Hong Kong at John Swire and Sons before joining Jupiter Asset Management in London as Eastern European Equities Manager. He fostered a specialisation in pan-European equities first at Carmignac Gestion and then at Argos Investment Managers in Geneva. In 2008 he returned to Carmignac Gestion as Emerging Equities Manager.

Charles Zerah

Charles Zerah holds a DESS postgraduate diploma in Finance (Paris II Panthéon Sorbonne) as well as a Masters in Banking and Finance. Ever since he embarked on his career, first with Axa Investment Managers and then with CAAM in both Paris and London, he has specialised in managing emerging market bonds. He came to Carmignac Gestion in 2010 as International Fixed Income Manager.

Frédéric Leroux

Frédéric Leroux is a graduate of IESEG School of Management in Lille. He began his career as a portfolio manager at Banque Scalbert-Dupont and then moved to Carmignac Gestion before founding KHEOPS Finance in 1997. He continued his career as an adviser on equity derivatives strategies at BNP Paribas Equities and HSBC CCF Securities before returning to Carmignac Gestion in 2003 as Global Manager.
